Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formulaI(R1 is alkyl or alkenyl; R2 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkylthioalkyl, alkoxy- or alkyl-thiocarbonylalkyl, etc.; R3 is H, alkyl, alkoxy or Cl; n is 0W2; excluding the cases that R1 is alkyl, R2 is H, and R3 is H, p-substituted alkyl or Cl CH3 or C2H5, R2 is CH3, C2H5, n-C3H7, or n-C4H9, and R3 is H).
EXAMPLE: O-Ethyl S-pheynyl N-orthomethylphenylthiophosphoroamidate.
USE: Agricultural and horticulatural fungicide. It is remarkably effective to control rice blast, sheath blight, etc. when applied to a paddy rice field.
PROCESS: The compound of formulaI(the examplified compound) is prepared by reacting the compound of formula II (e.g. O-ethyl S-sphenylthiophosphochloridate) with the compound of formula III (e.g. o-toluidine).
