Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to combine power sources with a simple construction by separating plural crank shafts, thus forming plural power sources and by connected the plural sources through a free wheel.
CONSTITUTION: A first engine 1 comprising a crank shaft 6 is directly connected to an output shaft member 4, while a second engine 2 comprising a crank shaft 7 is connected to the output shaft member 4 through a clutch member 3. The output shaft member 4 connects the outputs of both engines 1 and 2 and transmits the outputs to a flywheel member 5. Inside the clutch member 3 is provided a free wheel 42 which is connected when the rotating speed 7 of the crank shaft 7 exceeds the rotating speed of an intermediate shaft 49.
