Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase a printing speed and also to economize a printing medium, by printing such printing patterns as have been reverses up and down respectively, on both surfaces of the printing medium. CONSTITUTION:Printing drums 21, 22 are placed so that in case when one of the printing patterns prints, for instance, ''5'', the other prints it on the reverse side upside down. All printing data to be printed are written in a storage device FIL in order of printing. In this case, simultaneously, a page counter SPC counts the number of pages required for all the printing data. In case when the printing data of (m) pages are printed, a read control part RC reads out in order data of P#1 and P#m areas corresponding to a value of each page counter from the storage device FIL, and supplies them to a page memory PM1 and PM2. Counters LCT1, LCT2 show addresses of both the front end of the memory PM1 and the rear end of the memory PM2, a data of each printing line which has been read out is printed in the first printing line of one surface, but a data of the n-th line of (m) page is printed in a reverse state in the first printing of the other surface.
