Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable finding of the size of a measuring time and preset time without taking a reading of a measurement time, by a method wherein the size of the measurement time obtained at a stopping time of a measuring operation is compared with that of a time previously preset to notify of the result. CONSTITUTION:With a switch S2 operated in a stop watch mode, a T-FF12 is set, and a signal of 100Hz from a division circuit 2 is applied to a time measurement circuit 17 via an AND gate 16. With the switch S2 pressed once more, a state of a T-FF15 is inverted, and the time measurement circuit 17 stops a timing operation. Simultaneously, time information of the time measurement circuit 17 and a time memory 18 are inputted to a comparision circuit 23 to compare the sizes of two watches. If the value of the time measurement circuit 17 is decided to be smaller than that of the time memory 18, a melody sound is activated by an electromagnetic buzzer 25 for a given period of time.
