Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform a measurement during the operation at a high speed by means of a simple constitution, by a method wherein a detector, generating a single pulse per one rotation, is mounted at one of two rotary shafts to be measured, and a detector, producing N pieces of pulses per one rotation, located at the other. CONSTITUTION:Numerals 1 and 3, representing rotary shafts to be measured, are connected to their respective pulse generators 2 and 4 for generating pulses corresponding to the rotation. The pulse generator 2 generates a single pulse per one rotation, and opens a gate 5 to regist a nemerical value N in a counter 6. The pulse generator 4 generates N pieces of pulses per one rotation of the rotary shaft 3, and reduces the counter 6 each time one pulse is produced. A gate 7 is opened by a next pulse to that from the pulse generator 2, and corresponds to a difference in the number of rotations. If an error coincides within M%, the result H is smaller or equal to M/100, and thereby it will do if the comparator monitors the counting results.
