Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the measuring device for flow rate of gaseous body having excellent responsiveness to the change in the flow rate of air, by forming an electric heater and a temperature-dependent resistor for measuring the change in the temperature of air on a metal layer provided on the surface of an insulated supporting body through the intermediary of an insulator layer. CONSTITUTION:Metal layers 30 and 14 are formed by printing on the upper surface of an electrically-insulated supporting body 10 provided in a pipe in which air flows from the direction B and further the insulator layers 110 and 100 are formed by printing on the upper surfaces of the metal layers. Furthermore, on the upper surfaces of the insulator layers 110 and 100, the first temperature dependent resistor 13, a resistor 11 for an electric heater and the second temperature-dependent resistor 12 are formed separately by printing and conductor lead parts 101-106 are formed at both ends of the resistors 11-13 respectively by printing, whereby an air flow-rate sensor is constituted. Since the sensor is constituted in this way, the heat of the resistor 11 for the electric heater is transmitted excellently to the second temperature-dependent resistor 12 through the metal layer 14 and the air flowing in, and thus the responsiveness to the change in flow rate is improved.
