CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording paper 1 loaded on a rotary shaft 2 is fed to an electrostatic recorder 4 through a guide roller 3 and is fed to a developer 5 and a fixer 6 in order. If a recording picture shorter than a minimum prescribed length determined by the distance between carrying rollers 7 and 8 of the receiver is reproduced in the continuous receiving mode, the cutting operation of a cutter 12 is stopped. Simultaneously, a cut line is recorded automatically in the boundary part between the recording picture and the next recording picture.
