Abstract

PURPOSE:To control a signal changeover, inserted into a signal system which processes >=2 signals, securely without malfunction by varying and setting a voltage on the basis of a prescribed control mode. CONSTITUTION:The waveform of a conrol voltage applied to a control input terminal 110 when a control mode is changed from recording to reproduction, muting, reproduction, recording, muting, and recording is as shown by sections (a)- (f). This voltage is decided by the 1st and 2nd comparing circuits 120 and 122 to output prescribed control signals P, R and M. For example, when the control voltage reaches a lower-limit comparison voltage VML in the section (a), a comparator 142 generates an H-level output and an AND circuit 144 outputs a muting control signal M. Then, the comparison voltage is set to VTH. Therefore, when the control voltage exceeds the VTH, a comparator 124 outputs a reproducing signal R on the resetting of a sound recording control signal R outputted from an inverter 138. Thus, the control is exercised securely without malfunction.
