Abstract

CONSTITUTION:When magnification is a reducing magnification which is smaller than ''1'', a lens 10 is positioned as shown by a full line in the figure, an image of an original on platen glass 2 is reduced, is formed and exposed on a drum- like photosensitive body 8, and an electrostatic latent image is formed on said photosensitive body 8. Subsequently, in case when copying is executed by unmagnification whose magnification is ''1'', when the lens 10 is moved by a distance (l) in the direction B so as to approach the third mirror 6, as shown by a 2-point chain line, a cable 17 is drawn out in the direction B in accordance with said movement, a light quantity adjusting member 11 is rotated by 90 deg. in the direction of an hour needle, and a slit 12 which is adjusted the quantity of exposure between the fourth mirror 7 and the photosensitive body 8 is switched to a slit 13 which has a wider slit area than that of said slit.
