Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having excellent film-forming property and giving a film having high slippery and excellent transparency and free from surface defect, by compounding a polyester composed mainly of terephthalic acid and glycol with aluminum hydroxide having specific particle diameter.
CONSTITUTION: A polyester consisting of a bifunctional acid component composed mainly of terephthalic acid and at least one glycol component is compounded with aluminum hydroxide having an average particle diameter of 1W5μ, pref. 1W3μ. The amount of the aluminum hydroxide is 0.01W2.0wt%, pref. 0.5W 1.0wt%. The composition is not only suitable for the manufacturing of a film but also applicable to the manufacturing of fibers having excellent spinnability.
