Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve proper correction corresponding to the existence of printing data and the number of deflection stages by providing a means for memorizing and reading correction value of distortion according to the number of deflection stages and non-linear distortion correction value of single ink drop. CONSTITUTION:A charge correction circuit 7 is provided in an electric circuit used for a charge deflection type ink jet recorder to memorize and read a correction value of a distortion due to effect of inkdrops in the perimeter according to the number of deflection stages and a non-linear distortion correction value of single ink drop. Clock pulses generated by a clock pulse generation circuit 1 is divided with a division circuit 2. A charge pulse signal f2 divided into 1/24 and a correction clock signal f3 divided into 1/3 are inputted into the charge correction circuit 7. In the charge correction circuit 7, addition is made or not according to the existence of data corresponding to the correction value stored and then, a signal is applied to a charge electrode.
