Abstract

PURPOSE:To mold a foamed solid body having a desired filling density, an excellent strength and an excellent heat insulating property by a method wherein at the same time that an outside body making up a shell is molded by an extruder, a core body made up of foaming synthetic resin is injected and filled in the inner part. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic resin like PVC etc. sent from a material inlet part 2 equipped in a die 1 is injected from an injecting part 3 into a molding part 4 to provide an outside part 5 as a shell. On one hand, foaming synthetic resin is injected into the inner part of the shell body 5 from the injecting part 7 provided with many fine holes 6 at equal intervals in the forward direction of the injecting part 3 and on the inside of the shell, the foaming synthetic resin is expanded to provide the solid foam 9, cool and harden the shell 5. In this manner, by regulating the pressure given to the substance to be packed in the inner part of the shell, filling density can be changed freely, mold cavities hardly appear and strength can be adjusted.
