Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure the adjustment of papers in a captioned device by providing two conveyance means directed to separate a paper conveyed in from a side registration guide and bring the paper near to the same guide.
CONSTITUTION: A conveyance belt 6 is wound round a pair of rollers 7 to be successively brought near to a side registration guide 5 provided along a conveying direction of a paper 2. On the entrance side of this pair of rollers 7, a slanting rollers 10 is provided, and its shaft 10a is inclined to the opposite direction of the belt 6. Meanwhile, ball-holders 12 opened at their bottoms are provided on the belt 6 and the roller 10, and balls 13 are dropped into them to be in touch with the upper face of the belt 6 and the periphery of the roller 10. In this construction, at first, the paper 2 is conveyed to be separated from the guide 5 between the roller 10 and the ball 13, and the paper 2 projected outward from the guide 5 is drawn inside. Then, the paper 2 is brought near and in touch with the guide 5 between the belt 6 and the balls 13, and adjusted in its position for conveyance.
