Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to handle a plurality of targets varied in the Doppler frequency with an output signal of each Doppler filter at the rear stage of a Doppler filter bank multiplied by a fixed phase compensation value according to the center frequency of the Doppler filter. CONSTITUTION:RF pulses (pulse width gamma and cycle T) from a transmitter 1 are applied to a phase modulator 2 to be modulated in the phase within a transmission pulse width and emitted to the target from an antenna 4. Received signals are converted into an IF frequency with a receiver 5 and then, deteted in the phase with a phase detector 7. The signals thus detected are quantized and input into a Doppler filter bank 9 in which an FET computation is performed at a point N for each range corresponding to respective subbits. The output signals of the Doppler filter are subjected to a fixed level of phase shift for each range and the phase shift thus obtained is compensated by multiplying a fixed phase value for each range bin by means of a phase compensation circuit 10. The output signals of the circut 10 undergo a correlative processing with correlator 11 whereby an output of a pulse compressed wave-form is obtained.
