Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the inspecting and maintaining works of a rotary rectifier by fixedly insulating a plurality of coolers circumferentially between a pair of positive and negative current collecting rings, and disposing a plurality of rectifiers and fuses in combination at every cooler, thereby reducing the entire structure. CONSTITUTION:A pair of current collecting rings 28, 29 are secured with insulating studs 32 to surround a mounting ring 24 via insulators 32 a the end of a projecting piece 30 formed at the outer periphery of the ring 24. Coolers 26a, 26b are interposed via insulating plates (not shown) between the adjacent projecting pieces 30 of the ring 24, capacitor resistor blocks 20 and rectifiers 16 are secured to the cooler 26a, and fuses 18 are secured to the current collecting rings 28, 28 corespondingly to the respective rectifiers 16. Discharging resistors 12 are disposed at the coolers 26b. Then, 3-phase bridge coupling can be formed with the rectifier 16, fuse 18 and block 20 as one set.
