PURPOSE:To make easy circuit integration, by correcting a signal pattern through addition and subtraction of outputs using a plurality of constant delay filters consisting of active filters, in reproducing digital signals recorded on a magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Digital signals on a magnetic recording medium are reproduced with a magnetic head 13 and amplified signals 14 are inputted to an addition circuit 17 and given to a constant delay filter 15. The output of the filter 15 is inputted to a subtraction circuit 18 and given to a constant delay filter 16, and the output of the filter 16 is given to the circuit 17. With the constitution like this, when the input of the filter 15 is adjusted to a level greater than the output level, the peak position of the reproducing signal after correction is shifted to delayed direction. When the delay in the filter 15 is made smalller than the delay in the filter 16, the peak position can be delayed. Thus, the pattern of the reproducing signal can be corrected delicately and the circuit integration can be made easy.
