Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A fluorine ion prolongably releasing material comprising a novel polymer as an essential component containing a (meth)acrylic acid fluoride component, a homopolymer of a (meth)acrylic acid fluoride having a repeating unit shown by the formula (R is H or CH3; R' is 1W8C alkyl; m is an integer of ≥1; n is an integer including 0) or a copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid fluoride with (meth)acrylic acid lower alkyl ester.
EFFECT: Enhancing the ebur dentis of the surrounding of its use, inhibiting the progress of caries, and preventing the occurrence of caries.
USE: A sealant for caries prevention, dental filler, and dental adhesive.
