Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve efficient system, by connecting a PB-DP signal converting device consisting of a modulation/demodulation circuit, PB signal reception circuit and dial pulse transmission circuit for common use to each trunk through switches. CONSTITUTION:For example, number information from a PB telephone set is modulated into a digital signal at an A/D converting circuit COD and transmitted to a signal converting device PB/DP CONV via a time sharing switch SW, where analog signal is obtained at a demodulation circuit DEC and after amplification, the signal is transmitted to a PB signal reception circuit PBR and the received figure is converted into a binary code, then, the code is converted into a dial pulse with a dial pulse transmission circuit DPSD and transmitted and the PB signal is converted into DP signal. Further, this signal is transmitted to a signal transmission/reception device SSR and received at a device SSR and transmitted to an opposing station. Thus, through the connection to a trunk via the signal converter and a time sharing switch, efficient PB-DP signal conversion is made.
