CONSTITUTION:A central control device 1 transmits a signal of H level through a signal line 3 when the power supply at a terminal 10 is closed. In the terminal 10, since an on-voltage is supplied to the base of a transistor(TR) 12 via a resistor 4, the TR12 turns on and a relay 6 is energized, a power supply Vcc2 is supplied to a terminal circuit 7 through a power supply line 8 for starting. When the terminal circuit 7 is started, an H level is given to a terminal 13 to keep on-state of the TR12. Thereafter, a data exchange is made between the terminal 10 and the device 1, and after the disconnection of the power supply for the terminal 10 is informed by transmitting a specific signal from the central control device 1, an L level signal is transmitted through the signal line 3. The terminal circuit 7 discriminates the specific signal to give the L level to the terminal 13, the TR13, the TR12 is cut off, the relay 6 is deenergized, and the power supply for the terminal circuit 7 is cut off.
