Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce size by incorporating a light emitting part and a photodetecting part into one element thereby constituting a photosensor in a device of measuring speed from the pass time between two sets of photosensors. CONSTITUTION:Photosensors 2 each constituted by incorporating a light emitting part 3 and a photodetecting part 4 into one element are disposed by leaving a fixed distance in the advance direction of a microobject 1. The pass time of the object is measured with a digital counter 5, by which its speed is obtained. Since the sensors 2 are of a small size, they can be installed in narrow places and their installation is easy. If the characteristics of the sensors 2 are uniform, the accuracy is fairly high.
