Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain high productivity by disposing an automatic framing device for aligning electrodes on frames on the inlet side of a drying furnace and an automatic disjointing device on the outlet side of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:The undried electrodes 37 on a conveyor 36 are aligned on frame with a framing device 12, and this frame is loaded on a carriage 4 waiting in a frame loading position 10. The carriage 4 is loaded into a predrying furnace 2, where the electrodes are predried, following to which they are subjected to regular drying in a drying furnace 1. Next, the carriage 4 finished of drying moves to a frame separating position 11 where the electrodes are separated from the frame and return to the position 10 via a carriage conveying path 3. The electrodes on the frame separated from the carriage 4 are separated from an automatic frame disjointing device 13, and are fed to the next process by a carry-out chain conveyor 14. Thence, the separated frame is conveyed to the device 12 by an empty frame conveyor 15.
