Abstract
PURPOSE:To protect a load circuit, by obtaining the constant voltage through a simple circuit to a large extent of fluctuation of the input voltage and at the same time setting the internal impedance at a high level in case the current higher than the reference voltage flows to the load in order to maintain the voltage of a level equivalent to the load current. CONSTITUTION:The polarity is opposite between input power supply terminals a1 and a2 of the two circuits which ar shown in th diagram. The current supplied through the terminal a1 flows to a resistance R3 through a Zener diode DZ1, and the voltage is applied to the base of a transistor TRQ1 for operation. Thus a positive feedback loop is completed, and the current which is almost constant level flows to the collectors of TRQ1 and TRQ2. Thus the Zener voltage is finally stabilized at Zener diodes DZ1 and DZ2. As a result, the stabilizer voltage of the diode DZ2 emerges between output power supply terminals b1 and b2 to supply the constant voltage to a load. In case a fault arises at a load circuit to flow the current higher than the reference level, the positive feedback loop disappears to increase the internal impedance. Thus the voltage of supply is reduced down to a level equivalent to a load current.
