Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an electron-beam irradiation treatment speed and the work efficiency, by executing forming and vulcanizing operations after conducting preliminary crosslinking by applying electronic rays on a tire constituting member containing elastomer constituting substances which contain conductive carbon black and is vulcanizable. CONSTITUTION:Partial cosslinking is executed by applying electron beam onto a tire constituting member containing elastomer composition which contain conductive carbon black and are vulcanizable. Then, thus partially crosslinked tire constituting member and another tire constituting member, wherein elastomer composition being able to be vulcanized, are formed into a tire shape and vulcanized under the heated and pressurized condition, and by so doing, a pneumatic tire is obtained. Furter, as for the aforementioned carbon black, it is desirable to use a conductive furnace black, and it is particularly desirable to employ Ketjen-Black- EC (a product of AKZO Co.).
