Abstract

PURPOSE: To firmly fix a turbine wheel and a turbine blade on each other, by providing recesses and protrusions of prescribed dimensions on the contact surfaces of the wheel and the blade to mount the blade on the peripheral surface of the wheel by the engagement of their dovetails.
CONSTITUTION: A turbine blade 1 to be fixed on a turbine wheel 2 is conjoined thereto by the engagement of the dovetails 13 of the wheel and those 14 of the blade. Fixation pins 3 of circular cross section are inserted in between the dovetails 13, 14 in the axial direction to fix the blade 1 and the wheel 2 on each other. Two keyways 11 are provided in the butt 9 of the blade 1 at each dovetal 14 so that the keyways are opposed to the wheel 2. Stoppers 10 are protruded from the peripheral part of the wheel 2 so that the stoppers 10 are engaged in the keyways 11. The stoppers 10 are in contact with the insides of the keyways 11 so that there is no clearance between the stopper and the inside of the keyway in the axial direction of the wheel 2. The height of the stoppers 10 and the depth of the keyways 11 are smaller than the diameter of pin holes 24 in the same direction.
