Abstract

PURPOSE:To leave no mixture in a mixing apparatus, by adjusting the pressure and flow rate of liquid raw materials reactive and curable with each other injecting and mixing the raw materials in the mixing apparatus, feeding the resultant mixture to a molding apparatus injecting a washing liquid from a helical path into a mixing chamber in the form of a vortex, and washing the mixing chamber completely. CONSTITUTION:Liquid raw materials, e.g. isocyanate (solution A) and a polyol (solution B), which are raw materials for a urethane resin, reactive and curable with each other, are contained separately, and injected from the bottoms of stock solution tanks 2 and 3 having inserted agitators 1 through controlling parts 13 and 14 for regulating the pressure and the flow rate from an injecting ports into a mixing chamber 16 of a mixing part 4 in a mixing apparatus and mixed and then delivered from an outlet 36 to a molding apparatus. At the completion of the molding, directional control valves 10 are changed over to return the solutions (A) and (B) from paths 11 to the stock solution tanks 2 and 3 respectively. The liquid raw materials are mixed and fed into the mixing apparatus having a washing part 20 for injecting a washing fluid through a helical path 47 from a blowing port into the mixing chamber 16 of the mixing part 4 for carrying out the washing.
