Abstract
PURPOSE: To determine vitamin B2 in a test sample quickly with saving energy, by reacting the test sample with an enzyme to oxidize vitamin B2 at its 5'- position and an electron acceptor, followed by measuring the formed reduction type electron acceptor.
CONSTITUTION: A test sample is reacted with an enzyme obtained form Schizophyllum commune to oxideze vitamin B2 at its 5'-position, and an electron acceptor, e.g., 2,6-dichlorophenolindolephenol, Methylene Blue, phenazine methosulfate, etc. After they are reacted in a pH of about 4W8.5 at about 20W50°C for about 5minW48hr, the prepared reduction type electron acceptor is measured directly or after it is introduced to other coloring system, to determine an amount of B2 in the test sample.
