Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. having excellent processability, hydrolysis and yellowing resistance, etc., consisting of a thermoplastic polyurethane and a polymer obtd. by the graft polymn. of a rubbery copolymer composed mainly of ethylene and propylene with at least two members selected from an arom. vinyl compd., a vinyl cyanide compd. and a methacrylate ester.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a compsn. consisting of 10W90wt% thermoplastic polyurethane (A) and 90W10wt% polymer (B) obtd. by the graft polymn. of a rubbery copolymer composed mainly of ethylene and propylene with at least two compds. (one or more compds. being selected from each group) selected from at least two groups selected from arom. vinyl compds. (e.g. styrene), vinyl cyanide compds. (e.g. acrylonitrile) and methacrylate ester compds. (e.g., methyl methacrylate). There can be obtd. an elastomer compsn. in which a defect that the temperature dependence of the melt viscosity of the thermoplastic polyurethane is so high that the processability is poor, is improved. In addition to this improvement, the compsn. has an excellent resistance to hydrolysis, yellowing, weather and thermal aging.
