Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a titled safety device which prevents accidents of pinching in man or objects by extending a rope inserted partly with a spring around the device by fixing a part thereof, and actuating a limit switch inserted in a circuit for a driving motor.
CONSTITUTION: When an obstruction such as man or object touches a rope 12 held around a device 1, a holding bar 7 rotates around a pin 4, to move the rope 12 in following up thereto, thereby avoiding giving damages to the man or object. At the same time, a lever 16 is rotated by the movement of the rope 12, and a limit switch 21 is actuated by means of a dog, and a driving motor 28 is stopped immediately through the switch 21. Hence, the device 1 stops and this prevents the expansion of the accident. If said obstruction detaches from the rope 12, the rope 12 is reset to a normal position by a spring 24 and a rope holder 25, and therefore the switch is closed to restart the motor 28 of the device 1.
