Abstract
PURPOSE: To sense a vibration phase highly accurately by analyzing the frequency of vibration waveform, taking out only the rotational frequency component, synchronizing said frequency with the rotating phase of a rotary shaft and the rotating frequency, performing sampling, and performing discrete Fourier transformation of said signal.
CONSTITUTION: A shaft vibration signal 101 is converted into a digital shaft vibration signal 102 by an A/D converter incorporating a sample holder, and further transformed to a frequency spectral signal 103 by a Fourier transformer 15. A rotary pulse gear 7 and a phase reference pulse gear 8 are attached to the end part of a rotor shaft 11. A rotating pulse signal 105 and a phase reference pulse signal 106, which are obtained by electromagnetic pickups 9 and 10, are sensed. A sampling timing signal 107 which is proportional to the frequency of the rotating pulse signal is applied from a timing circuit 17 to the A/D converter 14 from the time point of the application of the phase reference pulse. In this constitution, the phase does not change at any number of rotation or at any time point of analysis, and the vibration can be sensed highly accurately.
