Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the connected parts with good water-proofness, weather-proofness and corrosion resisting property by a method in which a hard plastic sheet with gaps through which cables are inserted, is prepared at the irregularly-formed part of a main metal tube, and after heating said plastic sheet, the whole connected part is covered by a heat-contractive plastic sheet.
CONSTITUTION: At the corrosion resisting process utilizing an auxiliary metal-tube for connected part 1 of the cable 2, a hard plastic sheet 6 is provided with notches 7 directing to the center of a circle with larger diameter than the diameter of main metal tube 3, and the number of notches are corresponding to the number of the cables. Said plastic sheet 6 has adhesive material on its back side, and is arranged in the direction of the irregularly-formed part 5 being produced by caulking the end part of the main metal tube 3 of the connected part 1, after the cables 2 are inserted into the notches 7. Then the sheet 6 is heated and caused to cover said part. Next, the thermocontractive plastic sheets 8, 9 having almost the same length as those of the main metal tube 3 and the auxiliary metal tube 4, or a longer diameter than the circumferential length of tubes and further an adhesive material layer on its back side, are wound around the metal tube and the auxiliary metal tube respectively by lapping on the sheet 6 which covers the irregularly-formed part. Then it is heated and made to cover said portion.
