Abstract
PURPOSE:To make microplates usable in an automatic analytical device by using nozzles provided with mechanims of sucking prescribed amts. of serum and blood cells by going into sample vessels, and discharging the same selectively in plural reaction vessels placed in prescribed dispensing positions. CONSTITUTION:First, dispensing nozzles 52-1-52-4 are driven by a motor 62 until a shield plate 74 comes to the position of a photoswitch 72, and when the first row of the sample vessels of the racks 17 on endless belts 20-1-20-2 arrives at the dispensing position, the nozzle 52 is driven by a motor 80 to perform the insertion into the vessels and suction operations. Next, the motors 62, 65 are driven by a control device to dispense the samples in dispensers 51-1-51-4 respectively from the dispensing nozzles onto the prescribed vessels on a microplate 26. Thereafter, the operations such as washing are carried out by the control device, and the samples are made arbitrarily distributable by permitting suitable discharging of the plural samples in the respective stop positions by means of pulse motors 83-1-83-4. Thereby, the analysis of various items is made possible.
