Abstract
PURPOSE: To engage/disengage the transmission of power in forward/reverse direction by providing notches in the inner and outer wheels while inserting cam rollers into a pair of wedge-shaped spaces formed by said notch sections.
CONSTITUTION: Under the condition where a trip pin 25 is not contacted with a positioning chip 24 or when an outer wheel 3 will rotate clock wise, a cam roller 6 inserted into a space 16a where the distance (l) will decrease gradually in clock-wise will be wedged between the inner circumferential face 15 of an outer wheel and the bottom face of a notch section 13a to drive the inner wheel 2 in the same direction thus to rotate the cam roller 6 in the same direction together with a cam cage. While when rotating in clock-wise a positioning chip 34 will contact with the trip pin 25 and when stopping a cam cage 5 or the cam roller 6, the cam roller 6 will move in the direction where the distance (l) of the space section 16a is long to release the outer and inner wheels 3, 2 thus to stop rotation of the inner wheel 2.
