CONSTITUTION:An endless magnetic tape 13 is divided in the width direction of a tape by the prescribed number of tracks, and are divided in the direction as indicated with an arrow (a) by the prescribed number of blocks, by making a tape mark 17 stuck on a connecting part 13a a start point. Subsequently, by the recording and reproducing head, picture information, etc. and the corresponding index information are recorded in an information recording track 193 and a track 191, respectively, from the respective prescribed blocks.
