Abstract

CONSTITUTION:When loading a magnetic tape 5 to a cylinder 3, a cylinder arm 17 rocks counterclockwise against tensile force of a spring 18 by rotational inertia force of the cylinder 3, by making a pad contact instantaneously with the cylinder which is rotating at a position indicated with an arrow F. When the center line of the spring 18 passes through a rock supporting point 11, the cylinder arm 17 is rocked and driven by tensile force of the spring 18, is pressed against the stopper and is held. In this case, a tape guide pin 8 is operated automatically, and the magnetic tape 5 is wound round the cylinder 3 by 180 deg. or more. When unloading, the preceding steps are reversed by making the pad contact with the rotating cylinder 3 in the opposite direction.
