Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate a positioning of a pipe and a centering operation of blind member by a method wherein a heat pipe shaft is inserted into a rotary shaft of a rotary electric motor, a blind cover is engaged with an opening end of the shaft, the heat pipe is pushed into the shaft at its leading end and thereby welded thereto.
CONSTITUTION: Since an inner diameter of a hollow part 1a of a rotary shaft 1 and an outer diameter of a heat pipe 2 are made to show a slight gap or clearance therebetween, interior gas therein is compressed toward inwardly of the hollow part 1a by a thermal joint 6, an axial positioning thereof is determined by a length of brazing part 7a of the blind cover 7 and then the they are axially fixed. Even if the heat pipe shaft shows a high temperature and copper pipe etc. are thermally expanded, a clearance is kept therein and no change in position of the heat radiation part 2b is found. Heat pipe 2 is reinforced for a bearing 4 by the brazing part 7a of the blind cover 7 and the bearing 4 is jot affected by the heat pipe 2 by changing a length of the brazing part 7a, resulting in that a life of the bearing may be extended.
