Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform operations to adjust a cylinder oil amount following the vertical movement of a boom, by a method wherein the vertical movement of the boom is manually performed, and the movement distance places a switching stroke of a boom control valve under restriction through the working of a linkage.

CONSTITUTION: When a straight excavation is carried out, a detection member 16 is fixed at a leftmost position of a camform recess 18. With a boom 12 turned counterclockwise through the pushing of an arm 11, a hook 19 moves to the leftmost position of the camform recess 18. With a pedal 31 stepped on, the hook 19 engages the camform recess 18, and through the rotation of a pulley 11, the boom 12 is raised by a lever 13. This causes a linkage 20 to move upward the hook 19, and the movement distance controls an oil amount supplied to a boom cylinder 50 through a rod 14 for restricting a switch stroke of a boom control valve 15, which results in enabling to semiautomatically perform a straight excavation. The pedal 31 can control the engagement of the hook 19.
