Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the photometry of an entire surface as a subject to be photographed having a small difference of luminance, by varying the concentration of the condensing plate part corresponding to a part of said subject having a large difference of luminance by using an electrooptical diffusing plate which is divided into proper patterns being applicable the voltage for each pattern as a focal point. CONSTITUTION:Like a TTL single-lens reflex camera, the light to be measured and made incident through a photographing lens 6 is reflected by a reflector 5 to form an image on a focusing plate 1. The light to be measured which received a partial luminous adjustment from the plate 1 receives a detection of light volume by the only photodetector 4 which is provided at the radiation port of a pentaprism 2, i.e., at the area near an eyepiece 3. The plate 1 made of the liquid crystal, etc. is divided into proper patterns. The voltage is applicable separately to each section of division with individual electrode. Thus, each pattern is varied into the transparent, semitransparent and maximum concentration states respectively with application of the pulse voltage to each section.
