Abstract

PURPOSE:To display a word having plural different meanings, by storing the duplication of the contents of language memories into a memory when plural language memories are read by a common address and then displaying the state of the storage. CONSTITUTION:The words having the same meaning are stored at the same address position of each of language memories 61-64. Accordingly the common address is designated by an address register 67; the register 67 is changed by the search key on a keyboard 1; and the contents of each language memory is read to a register 41 through a control circuit 2. At the same time, the other corresponding memories are selected. In case the read-out words are dulicated, these words are stored in a duplication memory 53 via a decoder 43 and then displayed by lighting up the codes 81-83 of a display circuit 8 by the circuit 2 and via gates G1 and G3. In such way, the retrieval is possible at any language and at the same time a word having plural different meanings can be displayed in an easy way.
