Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent foreign matter mixing into the inside of a VTR when loading a cassette, by providing a projecting part on the circumference of a hole part of the body cover, into which a cassette is loaded, in a VTR constituting a portable video system, in particular.
CONSTITUTION: On the insertion port into which a cassette 9 of a VTR cover 1 is loaded, a cover 5 is provided, and on the circumference of the cassette insertion part, an L-shaped rib 8 is formed. In this way, it is possible to prevent foreign matter from going into the VTR through a space between the upper cover and the cassette. Also, in the vicinity of the cassette insertion port placed inside of the VTR, a rotary head unit 15 is provided, and when a cover of this part is weak, it is feared that the unit 15 contacts, but when the rib 8 is provided on the circumferential part of the insertion port, the upper cover is reinforced, and it is effective for making the VTR thin. In this regard, the same effect is obtained by providing a T-shaped rib on the circumferential part of the insertion port, or placing a groove part.
