Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the backflow pulsation of a roller pump by providing an eccentricity between the rotating shaft of a driving means and the rotating shaft of a follower means and setting a roll-in point and release point of the tube utilizing the difference of the rotating speeds between the rollers to form a pressurizing zone for the discharge of the pressurized fluid.
CONSTITUTION: As a drive shaft 4 of a driving wheel 5 and follower shafts 6a and 6b are installed with eccentricity by the distance δ the rotating speed of rollers 9 and 10 become faster and slower alternatively at certain frequency as compared with the constant rotation of the driving wheel 5. A roll-in point of a tube 18 is set in the upstream zone where the rotating speed is relatively faster and a release point of the tube 18 is set in the downstream zone where the rotating speed is relatively slower thus forming a pressurized tube zone between said roll-in point and release point for the discharge of the pressurized fluid thereby preventing the backflow pulsation which has been unavoidable in the conventional roller pump.
