Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent disappearance of an image due to an org. solvent vapor, a plasticizer or the like by using a developer composition containing a disphenol compound, an acid treated clay and a polyalkylene oxide compound compounded therein. CONSTITUTION:A bisphenol compound such as 2,2-bis(4'-hydroxyphenyl)propane or the like is compounded in a substrate along with an activated clay obtained by treating a montmorillonite type clay or bentonite type clay with an acid in an amount of about 2-50wt% against said clay as well as about 0.2-5wt% against said activated clay of a polyalkylene oxide compound is coated thereon. An MW of the polyalkylene oxide compound is pref. 200-5,000 and, concretely polypropylene oxide with an MW of about 400 can be employed. The obtained recording material can be prevented from yellowing phenomenon of a sheet thereof and reduction of developing capacity.
