Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A dotting punch car 3B for applying dotting punch to a recording paper 1 after printing is loaded on a head table 3 along with a recording head 3A and moved to a direction of an arrow a by a pulley 4 rotated by a drive motor 5. During recording operation, the dotting punch car 3B is existed at a position withdrawn to a level lower than the head 3A by a spring 3F but, when a dotting punch is applied to the recording paper 1 after recording is finished, by passing current to a coil 3G, a support 3E is drawn to an upward direction and, while the head table 3 is moved, a knife tip of the dotting punch car 3B is run in a dotting punch car running groove 6a of a guide plate 6.
