Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain to miniaturize the titled apparatus and to reduce a cost thereof by rotating an ink roller mechanism comprising arranging plural ink rollers, correcting rollers and ink supply containers on a concentric circumference to carry out recording of the three primary colors at a same position. CONSTITUTION:This invention relates to color recording using an ink roller. An ink roller mechanism 16 is rotated continuously or in a pulse mode and a rotary roller 10 is rotated by friction force with a guide 19 and, on an outer periphery thereof, a smooth ink layer 21 is formed by a correcting roller 12. Herein, becuase an ink roller 9A contacting with a recording paper 24 is not contacted with a guide 19, it is rotated without sliding on the recording paper. A position of the ink roller of each color is detected by a disc 28 and a detector 29 and, in a condition synchronized to the ink roller of each color, current is passed to a thermal head and an ink of each color is transferred to a plain paper at a same position. Therefore, only one thermal head is used and, because the ink layer 21 is corrected at every each rotatin and a running cost can be reduced.
