The voltage sent from the main capacitor causes a flash discharging tube F to emit by giving a trigger signal running through the synchro contact of an accessory shoe S. As a battery source, a chargeable secondary battery with low internal impedance such as a nickel-cadmium battery B1 is installed. Battery connecting parts a0 and b0, through which a primary battery such as a manganese battery B2 is parallel connected to the battery B1, are provided. By the means mentioned above, the secondary battery B1 can be charged with the primary battery B2. Besides, when the battery B1 is in a discharged state, electricity can be temporarily supplied to the main capacitor.
