PURPOSE:To reproduce transmitted digital data easily and surely by recording the modulated signals corresponding respectively to MODEM interface data and synchronizing signals simultaneously in different channels of a cassette tape. CONSTITUTION:The transmission data from a terminal device is demodulated by an MODEM2, and is made into an MODEM interface signal and an MODEM interface synchronizing signal. These signals are converted of levels to recording levels by the level conversion circuit 3 of a magnetic recording interface 10, after which both signals are recorded through a modulating circuit 6 simultaneously into different channels of the tape of a cassette recorder 5. Hence, the transmitted digital data are reproduced easily and surely without using any particular synchronizing circuit.
