Abstract

PURPOSE:To cope with a power factor and a noise with a simple construction by inserting a filter circuit comprising a D.C. reactor and a capacitor into a D.C. electric path connecting a rectification circuit and a switching circuit. CONSTITUTION:A smoothing electrolytic capacitor C1 is provided in a D.C. electric path connecting a rectification circuit for A.C. conversion, comprising diodes D1- D6, and a switching circuit for D.C. conversion of the D.C. thereof, comprising transistors Q1-Q6 while a filter circuit comprising D.C. reactors L5-L8 and capacitors C8-C11 both wound on the same core is inserted thereinto. The D.C. reactors L5-L8 enables the compensation for deterioration in the power factor caused by the smoothing electrolytic capacitor 1 while checking noise in cooperation with the capacitors C8-C11. The improvement of the power factor and the checking of noise can be performed simultaneously with a simple circuit.
