Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of heat infiltrated in a winding mounting shaft and to obtain a highly reliable rotor by a method wherein the heat exchanging section of a torque tube is formed thinner in thickness than the torque tube on the normal temperature side and the super-low temperature side. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of the heat exchanging section 2a' of the rotor torque tube 2 is formed thinner than that of the torque tube 2b on the normal temperature side and the torque tube 2c on the super-low temperature side. As a result, the stress of the torque heat exchanger 2a' and the heat exchanger cover 12a is increased, and the distortion in the axial direction is also increased with the help of the above increase. The distortion of the torque tube sections 2b and 2c on the normal temperature side and the super-low temperature side is reduced by the amount which was increased as above. Accordingly, the amount of the heat infiltrated in the winding mounting shaft can be reduced and a highly reliable rotor can be obtained.
