Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a bulk density mesuring device having high accuracy for pulverulent body, by fully automating the process which chrges a container with pulverulent body weighing after excess amount of pulverulent body is removed, displaying the quotient obained by dividing the weight by the volume, then, returning the container to the original position after cleaning the inside of the container with compressed air after turning over the container. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amount of pulverulent body is put into a container by vibrating a hopper chute 6 with a vibration generating equipment 9 installed in a main body case 1. When the pulverulent body is put into the container 2, a dumper 42 is closed and the vibration is stopped, and the excess amount of the pulverulent body is removed by rotating a scraping member 10 by means of a motor 11. Then, an air cylinder 24 works and a pushing member 16 is retreated and the container 2 is released. The weight is measured with a load converter 4 and the bulk density is displayed in an operation displaying section 39. Then, the air cylinder 24 works and the container 2 is held between the pushing member 16 and a pressure receiving member 17, then, the container is turned to one side by means of another motor 23 a nd the pulverulent body contained in the container is discharged. After the pulverulent body is discharged, the inside of the container 2 is cleaned by compressed air ejected by opening a solenoid valve 26. After the cleaning is completed, the container 2 is returned to the horizontal position by means of the motor 23. This series of process is fully automated through a program of a timing device 38. In this way, any errors caused by manual operation are eliminated and highly accurate measurings is performed.
