Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the oxygen sensor whose temperature compensation is excellent by forming a thermistor characteristic part at a specified position of a zirconia ceramic tube. CONSTITUTION:A protruded part 6b formed by the same zirconia ceramics is provided at the tip of the crucible shaped zirconia ceramic tube, a pair of opposing electrodes 13 and 14 are mounted on the outside of said protruded part 6b, and the thermistor characteristic part 15 is formed. Said pair of inner lead wires 11 and 12 are connected to a pair of the electrodes 13 and 14. Said inner lead wires are connected to external load wires 3 and 4. The temperature signal for exhausted gas obtained by said lead wires are inputted to a microcomputer, which controls the output of the oxygen sensor and compensates the temperature.
