Abstract
PURPOSE:To compare a modulated wave and a carrier wave by generating gate signals by all digitals by using a microprocessor and a programmable counter. CONSTITUTION:The counting value of the programmable counter 2, which counts clock pulses PCLK at every sampling period TS and generates the same counting value as a wave form of the carrier wave, is renewed by the value NR of difference between the instantaneous value of the carrier wave SC and the modulated wave SM at the time of each sampling by using the microprocessor 3. Accordingly, the magnitude of the modulated wave SM' closely resembling a stepped wave at a sampling period equivalently and the carrier wave SC can accurately be compared with the time accuracy of a clock pulse period.
